Property owners across the United States are leveraging sustainable rebate and incentive programs to fund electric vehicle (EV) charger installations. These programs can completely offset purchasing and installation costs, making chargers more attainable than many owners think. Learn more about Alameda Municipal Power’s Multifamily EV Charging Rebate below.
Background on the Program
Alameda Municipal Power’s (AMP) EV Charging Rebate offers up to $50,000 for multifamily property owners to purchase and install Level 1 and/or Level 2 EV stations. By leveraging this program, property owners can reduce costs for charger installations while supporting California’s clean energy goals and offering meaningful amenities to residents and employees. However, program funding is limited and issued on a first-come, first-served basis, so properties need to act fast.
