About Property

5161 Lankershim is a commercial property located in the heart of the NoHo Arts District in North Hollywood, CA. This 388k sq ft building provides tenants with commercial office space for small up and coming businesses and large established companies. This property also includes coworking offices and spaces like WeWork and CoworkingCafe. 5161 Lankershim has roughly 735 parking spaces within a multi-level structure connected to the property. The parking area is gated with paid access for daily to monthly rates for spots.

Project Information

Chargie was contacted by River Rock, now owned by New York Life, to install EV charging stations for tenant and visitor use within the property’s parking structure. After evaluating and confirming the property’s available load capacity and eligibility for rebates and incentives, Chargie managed the design, engineering, permitting, and installation of 40 Level 2 EV charging stations for the client. Through LADWP’s Charge Up LA rebate program, Chargie handled the entire application and approval process with the utility. Chargie is now responsible for the ongoing operation and management of the stations providing network monitoring, 24/7 customer support, and system maintenance and repair.
