What You Need to Know
Requirements
- Project must be located in San Mateo County, CA, or the City of Los Banos, CA
- The property must be connected to an active Peninsula Clean Energy customer account
Eligible property types
- Multifamily housing, including apartment communities, condominium complexes, and affordable housing developments with 4+ housing units
- Non-residential properties, including office buildings, workplace parking, retail centers, restaurants, hotels, schools, parking garages, municipal facilities, parks, and other publicly accessible sites
Total Funding Available per Charging Port:
- Up to $5,500 per charging port for eligible projects
- Up to $2,000 per Make Ready parking space
- Up to $5,000 for eligible electrical panel upgrades
- Incentives vary based on property type and project scope
Max Funding per Project:
- Funding limits vary by property type and project scope; some projects have no award cap, while others are maxed out at $40,000-$250,000
