Why does Chargie bill processing fees? How are they calculated?

Processing fees offset Chargie’s cost to process payments. Processing fees are $0.35 + 3.5% of your transaction total.

As of June 3, 2025, processing fees will no longer be collected on transactions and will be replaced by a flat-rate session fee.
